For the record I think trading for Giannis is ridiculous, shortsighted and doomed to fail.

Having said that, I think a trade involving Claxton + a S&T w/CamT or Zaire perhaps, or maybe just a non guaranteed contract of a player that doesn't matter, Bogdan in this case, to make the money work. Brooklyn would want/need to keep CamJ and possibly CamT, as well as any player of value not named Claxton (Clax and Giannis cannot play together because of spacing issues) to be able to maximize Giannis window and be able to compete right away. This is part of why the trade makes little sense, after Brooklyn sends all its assets for Giannis, they are now way worse than Milwaukee but I digress.

The draft picks can be flexible, Brooklyn would want to keep both its 25 & 26 picks, which might be a deal breaker because they are the most valuable. I would not want to send anything out past 2028, meaning all draft assets in 29 and beyond are off limits. Obviously if Brooklyn spikes the #1 or #2 pick in the 25 draft this changes things. 7 draft picks are offered here which I think is a fair amount when added with Claxton.

After acquiring Giannis, Brooklyn would need to hit the free agent market and grab either Miles Turner or Naz Reid as the floor spacing big. Then look ro re-signing a Dlo type and make an offer for Giddey (worst free agent class in awhile, another reason this idea is horrible) and that would essentially be your team.

PG:Giddey,Dlo(?)

SG:CamT(?),draft pick,random player (Keon,Zaire)

SF:CamJ,draft pick,random player (Watford)

PF:Giannis,Clowney

C: Turner or Reid, Sharpe(?), draft pick, random player

As you can see, even with adding two decent free agents, this team is incredibly thin and only has one definite all-star in Giannis. Depending on health and draft picks, I see a second round exit as it's absolute ceiling. Really hope Brooklyn doesn't try this
