Jarace has never had a consistent role, if any role at all really. Ever since joining the Pacers. They've been wanting to push him into becoming their SF. Ever since they traded for Pascal, already having Obi Toppin. They are already stacked at the PF. Which is obviously the role Jarace is most comfortable, even though he has shown the ability to play SF at time's well. He's a solid passer and good at creating for other's. Except due to his size, with team's who play smaller SF's. He could struggle more with their speed. Lately he has shown that he is better adapting to NBA level play. By tracking down player's as they get passed him and blocking their shots at the rim. Jarace Walker is a very hard worker and not someone I'd like the Pacers to part with. However we need other positions filled and a chance at another 1st rd pick to select the positions of need. If they'd ever decide to address those needs. I myself in particular wanted the Pacers to draft Jaylen Wells over Furphy. Because we needed a SF so badly. This would help and also help reduce the overloaded PG position. Grizzlies can use the size and would love to have a 7th overall player they could place right away into their starting lineup. Who would fit flawlessly in their system and thrive. Given all the minutes he needs to keep a rythem.

I'm sure many fans won't like this idea of trading Walker.. But I say if they aren't going to use him. Why not eventually try to get some kind of assets at least in return to better our team.. and to give more balance.
