The Hawks have to get under the luxury tax. They will be dealing someone and Collins and Hunter are the most likely. This deal:

Hawks get under the tax but keep their core intact. They get the other Bog from the Pistons so they now have the brothers which is fun. They get Ayton as an upgrade over Capela. They have to include Griffin and Sacramentos first next year to get it done. Win for the Hawks.

Pistons get two young wings in Hunter and Griffin that fit what they need. They pick up an asset in a future first. They replace Bagley with Collins who can at least shoot and spread the floor, helping clear their logjam of bigs.

The Suns move Ayton for depth. Capela is quite similar to Ayton so they don’t lose a ton there. While Bagley doesn’t have a great contract, he’s still young and gives them depth. Bey is a good shooting wing who fits the profile of what they need. They pick up a few second rounders in the deal as well which is important since they literally traded them all away for their future.
