After adding veteran wing shooters, the Pistons adding Christian Wood to start at Power Forward alongside Jalen Duren would be a very nice move that could easily have them in the play in or playoffs with the return of Cade Cunningham.

The Mavericks get a high-potential big man and even though they drafted Dereck Lively depth is important. They also gain a developing guard that is already an above-average defender. It's better than losing Christian Wood for nothing. If it doesn't work out, both players are expiring. The two 2nd rounders as throw-ins may help as well.
