So this upcoming offseason, the Spurs are expected to have at least $49 million in cap space. There are going to be a lot of good free agents available this summer, and I think the Spurs will pick some up to fill out the roster and go for a playoff push in 2026. They pick up Luke Kennard for 2 years, $20 million, Malcolm Brogdon for 2 years, $16 million, and Clint Capela for 1 year, $9.6 million. The Spurs get a lot of veteran and playoff experience with these signings. Brogdon, Kennard, and Capela have all been in the playoffs before and all three have made it to a Conference Finals (Brogdon with the Bucks, Kennard with the Clippers, and Capela with the Rockets and Hawks). Capela can be a really solid backup to Wemby, and can add some rebounding and rim protection off the bench. Kennard and Brogdon can both back up Fox and Castle, and will definetely add some shooting off the bench.
