So this upcoming offseason, the Spurs are expected to have at least $49 million in cap space. There are going to be a lot of good free agents available this summer, and I think the Spurs will pick some up to fill out the roster and go for a playoff push in 2026. They pick up Luke Kennard for 2 years, $20 million, Malcolm Brogdon for 2 years, $16 million, and Clint Capela for 1 year, $9.6 million. The Spurs get a lot of veteran and playoff experience with these signings. Brogdon, Kennard, and Capela have all been in the playoffs before and all three have made it to a Conference Finals (Brogdon with the Bucks, Kennard with the Clippers, and Capela with the Rockets and Hawks). Capela can be a really solid backup to Wemby, and can add some rebounding and rim protection off the bench.
