If the Timberwolves don’t make the Western Conference finals and decide they need to move on from Karl-Anthony towns in order to avoid exceeding the threshold of the second salary tax cap apron, the wolves will likely try to move Karl-Anthony towns for a package of young players, veterans, and draft equity. However, the returning salary will likely have to be $12 million below the $44 million. Karl-Anthony towns go early next season.

I can’t see the Chicago Bulls trading Coby White, so this is probably the best trade package the bulls could offer Minnesota that might peak their interest. Doubtful the wolves would do it, I guess it depends on how Lonzo looks returning from injury.
