For the sky I really don’t know what direction this is going. Like why are you going straight back into rebuild mode as you had a star. Maybe she would lead you but I don’t think she would have to lead you and think she could and should be a star role player and that’s what the dream got her for. Why would you draft hvl as angels teammate one year then trade her the next. Very questionable to me. Also for the sky if you are committed to Cardozo and you want to build around here why not get a better return and not send her to late first round picks. I think a perfect suitor for her would have been the mystics where she could go with the young core and they could add on this year and the sky could get like 3 firsts.

For angel Reese though I think this is amazing for her because even though she may not be the star of the team I think that is actually a really good thing for her as most of her fanbase is there and people will probably not hate on her as much.

For the dream I really love this move for them as it really establishes them as contenders as that core that lead them to that one seed last year was very old mainly all in their thirty’s and they really need to get younger while maintaining winning. Putting Reese next to rhyme Howard is amazing for them and keeping that first this year. Very good for them as she can fit in as a role player to go win. Also is the center they need as Brittney griner may not come back or she can play 4 and move Howard to 3 if they keep griner. They did kindve jeopardize their future with this deal getting rid of the firsts.

This is really hard to evaluate this trade without any results. My grades are sky and dream B.
