The trade: The hawks swap Clint Capela , Deandre Hunter , their 2020 frp and two second round picks for the number 1 and number 2 pick in the draft.

Why: They do this because they can get two superstar caliber players and free up cap space to sign free agents. With the number 1 pick they take Anthony Edwards the hometown hero and with the number 2 pick they take a good center in James Wiseman. In FA the next year they let John Collins walk bcuz they didn't really need him with both Wiseman and Ingram in Atlanta(i'll explain). For the warriors they get a center who can help them right away and for the wolves a good defender to move a few steps down in the draft.

Free Agency: The Hawks have so much cap space this year because they have so many free agents instead they let most of these guys walk and only re-sign Bembry and Teague to run it back. They offer Teague a deal he can't say no to as many teams might not want him right now; they can offer way more if he demands some more as well. Since they draft Wiseman they have a starting center but no one off the bench they acquire Ed Davis to a two year contract and if he doesn't sign they can re-sign Skal Labissiere. They sign Ingram to a contract that the pels probably won't offer him. They can offer him upto 35 mil for four years and extend him from there and he will be a great addition to the team.
