Imagine if the Lakers had done a couple of things differently between 2020-2023: -Sign Caruso instead of Horton Tucker -No Westbrook trade, so they keep KCP (and Denver doesn't get him) -No Schroder trade where they lose Jaden McDaniels

So you fill the Schroder, DLo and Vanderbilt slots with Caruso, McDaniels and KCP. They would be much better defensively in the 2023 playoffs. Denver swept them but all the games were close (and KCP was Denver's 4th best player that year).
