This big board is comprised of my evaluations and rankings of prospects for the 2025 NBA draft. I do not base my big boards on the consensus, but rather my own opinions formed through meticulous scouting. I have formulated a draft philosophy through years of doing this as a hobby, and it is the basis of all the scouting I do. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them.

This year is a relatively deeper draft class than previous ones in my opinion. There is a large amount of prospects who I believe can realistically be projected to have long careers as role players in the NBA. The top of the draft is relatively strong as well. This makes this years draft class one of the best in recent memory in my opinion, at least from a projection standpoint. It remains to be seen if it will live up to expectations and surpass other recent draft classes that appear to be very strong in hindsight.

I often encourage NBA fans to do their own research when it comes to NBA prospects. You can read about a prospect in an article and learn about the things they may be good or bad at, but there is inevitable bias in every journalists, scouts, or analysts depiction of a player. It is better to do your own informed research to form your opinions than reading something in a book or online and make that the basis of your opinions. The latter ends up not being your own thoughts and opinion, but rather those that belong to someone else. As you read this article, I encourage you to keep this in mind. I try my very best to keep bias out of my writings, but these are my own opinions at the end of the day. I encourage you to research the players I discuss and forming your opinion on them based off that, not this article or any other one. I also encourage you to share with me what you find! I’m always open to civil discussion and debate of opinion.

There are always quite a few players that I find…

This deal takes place on the day of the trade deadline due to restrictions that would prohibit this deal from happening until January 15th.

Brooklyn Nets

Cameron Johnson appears to be the most like player that will be traded next in Brooklyn’s mid-season roster tear down, and he is the most valuable player they are likely willing to move on from. He provides very efficient offense as a known shooter with a true shooting percentage of 66%. He will inevitably be coveted by contending teams who wish to significantly bolster their offense without selling the house to acquire a superstar player. It is believed that the Brooklyn Nets wish to receive two first round selections in exchange for Cameron Johnson, and this trade gives them just that. They receive a 2025 Miami Heat first round pick that is lottery protected, and they receive a 2027 Denver Nuggets first round pick that is top six protected. This adds to their arsenal of drafts picks that they have been building up for the last cou…
