In this scenario it would require sometime in the season to pass to trade Eric Gordon, but if the team really needs a 4, and McCain is barely getting minutes I think this would be a great way to get some vets and depth to compete in the playoffs.

Cavs now know Mitchell is their #1 and build around his strengths without losing too much draft capital. Next move is to think about moving Mobley in the offseason for another all-star that complements Allen and Mitchell.

Magic get a young all-star caliber guard to pair with Paulo and Franz. Next move is to continue to build around their young core in the offseason and develop them as a unit.

Nets get two young players in Okoro and Howard while getting a bunch of picks for Mikal. Nets also free up a bunch of cap space for the offseason getting Mikal and Dorian Finney-smith off the books. Sixers get expiring back and help the Knicks and Lakers in spots they need help without requiring them to give up too much draft capital. Sixer's use some capital to remain relevant, but overall net positive with draft assets after the deal.

Nets get a protected 1st and a young player in springer for Dinwiddie who they aren't planning on resigning.

In this trade, after the Embiid Injury, rather than try to compete this season the sixers decide to sell some expiring's of value to competing teams. Getting these picks they can use in the offseason to acquire more talent while keeping their salary cap space. Also adding Jalen Hood Schifino gives the sixers a young gaurd to develop/look to trade away this offseason to a young team.

Knicks get a good backup 3 & D Gaurd and forward with Melton and Covington, and don't have to give up too much draft capital.

Lakers get a bench/starting scorer in Oubre to help them this year while only having to give up Jalen Hood Schifino and a second….

Bridges is a terrible person, but a great fit for the sixers team that needs more scoring off the bench.

Bey adds more shooting to the team which they desperately need.

Caruso is the main piece in the deal which helps the sixers with extra playmaking and perimeter defense.

This trade would allow the Sixers to get an allstar caliber gaurd in Murray, while building around the fringes of their bench with solid role pieces in Wright and Craig.

Sixers Next Move: Look to the buyout market for potential players to fill at least one of their two roster vacancies, most notably Gordon Hayward. I think he could really be the last piece to come off the bench to help stretch the floor, create his own shot, and contribute to a championship run. Elevate one of your young guys in Ricky council or Kenneth Lofton if the buyout market doesn't go your way….

I don't know if they'd do it, but interesting idea for the pacers to build now with Siakam and Haliburton…

++JAZZ++ What if the Jazz decide to buy? They have enough assets and cap to be able to move players that can help contending teams like the Mavs and Knicks, while having enough draft capital to satisfy tanking teams for their stars.

In this trade the jazz decide to buy low on two all star caliber player's one in Murray who they can outbid every other team with picks and Lavine who's market value has sunk and they get get him reactively cheap.

Immediately they have one of the quicker, better perimeter shooting, and bucket getter teams adding these two all star caliber players with Lauri.

This makes them a potentially more lethal team, with mid 20's age all star players locked in on multiple year deals, draft picks still ready to trade, extra cap space before the tax, and a group of young guys developing/potentially able to be traded.

I think they can compete for a playoff spot with this team, and then in the offseason look to make some more moves to bring in an available superstar/c…
