This is essentially a PG swap, with the pick swap for 26 removed, and their 27 back… Essentially controlling their own destiny….

Don't follow the Pistons, so your input is appreciated. With recent "rumors" of Atlanta also considering Risacher at #1, moving on from Capella, and Detroit's previous interest in Hunter… What about.
Hunter
for
Duren + Stewart
I've heard that Duren fell off a bit, so maybe (if he's still there), they could decide to go REALLY big and get Clingan. This would give us the ability to move capella while getting a replacement, plus a decent PF/C. This also would let us draft Risacher comfortably and slide him in as the 3….

Of course there would be some pics involved, but is this a good framework for a deal?…

There would need to be some picks moving as well, but this is the basic framework….

This is a combinations of two trades I saw on a BRK and NO website that I thought could happen, if ATL wanted to reset.
ATL sends young+bey for Bridges, Harris, Thomas, and 25 and 27 firsts.
ATL gets back contributing players, and restocks the picks sent for Murray.
ATL sends Capella for Val, Lewis + 1st in 23.
Gets a bit more offense from Val, and sets up Okongwu to start the next year.
Like I said, I'm a hawks fan, but I always trust opposing teams sites to see what they are willing to give for other players, so there's less bias….

With Issac missing all of the 21-22 season, his contract now has decreased to 16m in 22-23, and only guaranteed 7.4m the next season.
Likely, Gallinari would be waived this off season for 5m. In this trade, they take a chance on Issac, and if he doesn't work out, waive him for only 2m more than what they would have waived Gallinari for the year prior.
For ORL, they get a first out of someone who, after this draft, will most likely be coming off the bench anyways… If healthy….
