Note: This trade is not illegal. The Suns have first rounders in 2026, 2028, and 2030, but they are pick swaps.

Why the Suns do this:
The Suns were supposed to be a title contending team this season but they’re currently sitting a game under .500. One of their most glaring issues is at the starting center spot. The Suns need someone young and athletic who can finish at the rim and protect it at the other end. Kessler fits perfectly. Clarkson, although he would likely struggle to find consistent minutes, could provide a good scoring spark off the bench.
Why the Jazz do this:
In return for Kessler and Clarkson, the Jazz get Jusuf Nurkic, a handful of 2nd rounders, and the 2031 FRP from the Suns. They are currently tanking for Flagg, and this move helps them with the rebuilding process. The 2nd rounders the Jazz acquire will realistically be early round because the Suns aren’t going to be good in a couple of years, especially 2031. That also basically guarantees that the 2031 FRP will be a lottery one, meaning the Jazz would draft a lottery player even after having finished rebuilding, setting t…

Suns get bigger/longer at the wing and an overdue upgrade at center.
The team last in 3pt%, the magic, receives one of the best 3pt shooters in the league also improving floor spacing

This trade is given that Beal waived his no trade clause to go to CHI.

Obviously this trade doesn’t work (or at least this “version” of it) if Beal exercises his no trade clause
Why the Suns do this:
Suns swap Beal for Butler who not only has a better contract, but is a better fit than Beal overall. They also replace Nurkic, who has struggled too much for them this season, with Kessler, who is younger, more athletic, and provides the lob threat and rim protection Nurkic can’t.
Why the Heat do this:
Jimmy hasn’t demanded out of Miami yet, but if he does, things could go south pretty quickly. But seeing as that hasn’t happened yet, we know that Butler’s #1 trade destination is PHX, and in return the Heat get Beal, Reddish, and the coveted 2031 FRP from the Suns. Beal plus Reddish and the FRP provide more value for the Heat versus just deciding to pay Jimmy, as the defensive minded Reddish fits their culture, and obviously the 2031 FRP is valuable because the Suns most likely won’t be good by then.
Why the Jazz do this:
To be honest, I don’t know the J…

Go check out the first 2 parts if you're interested and haven't already. Hopefully this helps some people, idc if you guys take it or leave it.
Gum-I briefly touched on this topic in the last post, but I wanted to explain the failures caused by having gum on a date. If you're chewing gum during a date, then there are many things you can't do comfortably or easily. You can't eat, drink, kiss, or making an obnoxious chewing noise. When you're done with your gum(flavor runs out or whatever), it's not sanitary to grab it out of your mouth and place it in the trash(trust me girls care about sanitation) and it's not very professional to spit your gum(or anything) in the trash on a date or in front of your girl. What I'd recommend is you chew gum at least an hour between having any food and the date. A more specific time frame would be you are done chewing gum at least 10 minutes before seeing her. Your breath is fresh and you still have the sweeteners are still keeping you awake and alive(c…
