The way I determine my NBA Big Board is not too complicated. You have to find a mix between what they previously have been, what they are now, and what they will be in the future. To me, if you're a rebuilding team, you go for upside all day. But there are many contending and competitive teams who could use a win-now player to impact the team with a great skill. And the problem with upside is if the guy has raw talent. If the player is not proven, that could be a risky decision for a team. So this Big Board is essentially the players I feel will make the biggest impact in their careers, or have the potential to.
