High End: Cam Johnson Low End: Justin Jackson/Tyler Lydon Median outcome: Georges Niang Pros: Shooting, off-ball scoring, rebounding, size, feel Cons: Athleticism, shot creation Verdict: Alex Karaban has been a proven weapon on multiple championship caliber teams, but his limitations are finally highlighted now that he is playing in a weaker roster. His role on an NBA team is clear as a movement shooter off the wing while also scoring off ball through his movement and cutting. Karaban rebounds quite well and also gets a lot of blocks because of his instinctual feel on defense. Other than that, Karaban should stand a chance against guarding wings with his frame, but his lateral quickness definitely prevents him from being an ideal 3&D wing.

Alex Karaban's role hasn't changed despite the departures of Donovan Clingan, Tristen Newton, Cam Spencer and Stephon Castle.

And it shouldn't—he isn't a ball-handler or creator, but the career 39.4 three-point percentage, movement shooting and strong finishing point to an easy-fit, off-ball scorer.

Teams thought he could help them last year, I don't think anything happened the past season to dispel that thought. There's still an outcome where Karaban is a high end connective guy who does damage from beyond the arc.

11- Alex Karaban- UConn- PF- S: a 3pt shooter, once the ball is up he can be crafty to get a rebound (usually for a put-back)
