A pretty high level role player prospect. Hustles a ton on the defensive end of the ball, has the knowhow to make switches on D and the right pass on O, and is a solid enough athlete to not being taken advantage of. His shooting is less translatable in my opinion, because the free throw numbers have always been slightly underwhelming, but he seems like a good locker room guy with a good work ethic, I trust him to make it work out.

Comparison: Terrence Mann

Ceiling: Shorter Otto Porter with grit Floor: Martin Bro

Petty Jr. is certainly not my favorite prospect, as he is a streaky shooter, but he shows plenty of potential to be an off ball mover and 3&D type. He didn't create his shot well at a high level, and sometimes can have lapses defensively, but he's a good defender overall and I think he'll be asked to be an off ball mover at the next level. A good leader for Alabama this past season, and will be a guy head coaches want on their team.

Projected draft range: 50-undrafted

6''5 with a 6''7 wingspan. Takes double the amount of threes than twos, play on an inside or three offensive team. Less than 3% of the teams offense comes out of mid-range. Handles are tight on the attack and he has shiftiness. Nice athleticism and bounce. Shot creation abilities, almost better shooting off-dribble, a tough assignment in ISO. Has a good looking floater. Very comfortable with both hands. Beautiful rise on release on shot when he''s shooting with conviction. Other times he can be falling off balance, fading away on contests and get airballs as a result. Really good bounce and rhythm stepping into his shots. Despite barely shooting more than four 2pters a per 40 in his NCAA career he has still found himself at the line 2.7 times per 40. Confusing how such a nice looking jump shooter can only be career 70% FT shooter. Seems to push his free throws at times. Positive rebounder for size and position. Nice touch to passing to cutters or making entry passes. On the attack he ha
