MJ Walker is a really solidly built shooting guard, with some really nice touch from three point land. His motor is astounding and his athleticism is solid (on the college level at least). I’m not sure if he can really guard smaller guards, and bigger wings may also be off the table due to height, but at worst he’s a 3 point shooter with a lot of grit and knowhow.

Comparison: (I know I’ve used this a lot) Wes Matthews

Ceiling: Danny Green esque Floor: Utah Jazz Chris Johnson

Walker has a terrific shooter and another built 3&D wing. While he does have average length and isn't very quick, he does have some tools on the defensive end with a 6-8 wingspan mixed with a built frame. I just really like Leonard Hamilton's prospects because they can do everything on the court. Walker took some scoring responsibility this season and knocked down some shots off passes from Scottie Barnes. Maybe a 4th option who can step up when stars are injured.

Projected draft range: 55-undrafted

6''6 wing with very smooth C&S, 45% from 3- should translate as a threat here, good relocation and footwork on C&S. Quite aware of cutting teammates, bigs around the hoop and will grab assists off of lobs and oops to teammates - 3.5 AST per 40. Not laterally quick and struggles in iso defense. Will not be a primary or secondary playmaker, won't create his own offense. Competent team defender and should be a solid lane filler and finisher in transition due to being a north-south freight train, it comes as no surprise he is a former football star.
