Celtics cant make a deep run this year and Brown decides its enough so instead of dealing with drama all year they trade him while his value is high and get Simon to be a good scorer/ball handler for Tatum. Also get off of Smart before he falls way way off. We saw the downside this year. May have to throw in another pick for Brown but Simons has value and Brown is on a one year deal.

Blazers push all in for Dame. Stealing Brown as he forces his way out. Getting a Bam who needs a change of scenery after having all the paint pressure with the Heat. I think Blazers fall somewhere in the pick 5-8 range and then trade down to grade more assets. Those assets would be used to get another defender in the paint and help give Celtics and Heat more value (lower first or 2nd just too much for one trade machine)

Heat try to reset there chips to be ready to get the next star. They have Tyler and picks. Plus Jimmy could be moved to get more assets as well. Or just a retool.

Trade favors Portland I know but like I said there would be a more assets going to both Heat and Celtics to get this done. Just didn't want it to be a 8 team trade. Also highly unlikely I know
