This makes sense for all three teams.

POR: Blazers are able to trade Malcolm and get two lower value protected first round picks to continue stockpiling picks. The 2025 Denver pick should continue to be in the backend of the first round and the 2027 Spurs pick could potentially be outside of the lottery assuming by then Wemby and the Spurs would be pretty good. Blazers also add two veterans who aren’t in long term contracts.

ORL: Magic is looking like they will be im the playoffs this year and having a veteran like Brogdon who has playoff experience could help this team be really competitive in the playoffs.

SAN: Spurs can use an upgrade in PG and Anthony could potentially be that. He also fits the timeline of the Spurs.
