Memphis recieve: Robert Williams III, 2024 GSW 1st

With Steven Adams gone the Grizz are short spots at C. JJJ could play there but he’s better as a PF. Robert Williams could provide as a center to assume the Grizzlies status of contenders. He could bolster their defensive side of the rotation with his rim protecting ability.

There have been suggestions that the Blazers should trade their lottery pick from GSW this off-season. We could try and move up in the draft as I don’t think trading for a star fits our timeline. Memphis have a pick for this year that is very valuable but it has seemed like a blessing in disguise or a gift for them as they have a very capable roster for winning now.

The Blazers would have two very high lottery picks if this trade happened and I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility.
