I’m eager to trade Ant, but Charlotte already has Mann and NSJ, who overlap with Ant’s role. This could be a trade that includes releasing Josh Green, and Portland would probably be satisfied with getting the Miami pick in return.

Charlotte doesn’t need high draft picks anymore. Over the next few years, they’ll focus on finding players to complement LaMelo and Miller. A 3&D wing is one option, and acquiring Kris would add size to the lineup. Ant could play as the starting 2 guard and would be more effective off the ball alongside LaMelo.
