Blazers
Jaden McDaniels is exactly the kind of young player the Blazers are looking for. He would build a new Blazers identity as a strong defensive team, something they've lacked and proven is a key component to winning (by losing because they couldn't defend a traffic cone). He can also play the 4 for when Jerami Grant is ultimately shipped out--a position they badly need to fill in the young core.
T-Wolves
They desperately need the Gobert move to pay off and to win now. McDaniels is a very good defender but needs to develop offensively. Mike Conley is old and contributing less every year--it's hard to know how much he'll bring in big minutes over 82 games. Brogdon is a proven quality talent who can take the ball-habdling load off Ant, distribute at a high level while being a scoring threat, and all the while he's a genuinely good defender. He's versatile as a combo guard and comfortable contributing off the bench if they need him to lead the bench unit.
