Huerter and Mitchell complement Trae Young much better and they get a first. Atlanta knows that Huerter fits with Young, and Davion is a much stronger on-ball defender than Murray, which they were looking for originally.

Why Sacramento does this:

Trading Barnes opens up opportunities for Keegan Murray. Davion has been a bust and might need a change of scenery. They get a pick back while losing only 1 first for a guy who might be a true star? Sacramento should jump at that.
