Why the Wolves do this:

-They receive an expiring contract on a pretty big deal

-They receive multiple picks for the future and for possible trade assets

-They also receive a player they can use for salary filler later on

  • TWolves Starting 5:

DLo, Ant, McDaniels, Barnes, Gobert

Bench:

McLaughlin, Nowell, Prince, Anderson, Reid

-

What they could do after trade:

-Trade other pieces like DLo or Gobert for picks and young players to sell even more

-Give younger players on squad more minutes like Nowell, Moore Jr, and obviously Ant

Why kings do this deal:

-They receive a 3rd star player to build a trio for the future since Fox, Sabonis, and KAT are all decently young

-KAT helps them start contending possibly

-

Kings Starting 5:

Fox, Monk, Murray, Sabonis, KAT

Bench:

Mitchell, Davis, Huerter, Lyles/Metu/Okpala, Len

-

What they could do after trade:

-Look for more bench depth

-Start to fully win (also meaning the beam stays on)
