They need to shake things up and this trade gives a much more athletic big in wiseman ( granted no where near as skilled) that screams Giannis Potential once he’s seasoned. The Raw athleticism is there ,and pairing him with Murray gives the Nuggets 2 cornerstones who’s window is much closer. While Murray is signed thru 2025 ($39 million his final year)after next year Jokic will only have one more year where he will be eligible for a HUGE MAX deal , being the Nuggets are a small market they sell high before any whispers of him wanting to leave !! 3 first round picks in a loaded draft this year plus another in 2025 will give Nuggets cheap Blue chip talent that they can surround there core players with on a close window for them to peak , Seth is an under rated player who will give much needed spacing that Nuggets have lacked at times That and Jokic ( and many other centers for that matter) have been a bit exposed this playoffs guarding the perimeter.
