This is a huge trade to shift the power structure in both conferences. The Wizards don’t want to pay the luxury tax, so they trade Beal’s horrible contract and get a sign and trade for KP to build towards the future. The Heat go all in for their title run, and Miami seems to be a destination if Beal waived his no trade clause. The Nets sell high on Bridges and grab a great young guard in Simons, while also grabbing the 3rd pick in a top 3 draft to make their future shine a lot brighter. The Jazz use their massive cap space to pick up assets for an expiring Jordan Clarkson. The big winner here is Portland, as they are able to have a viable championship contending roster. Bridges and Dame are very close and seem like they would be a great fit, along with KP who will give you 20 and 10 effortlessly and an unselfish role player to round out their starting five. This also gives them another $29 million under the tax to resign Jerami Grant, and would have a projected starting lineup of Dame Clarkson Bridges Grant and Porzingis. Between them and the Heat maintaining their trio of Jimmy Tyler and Bam while also adding Beal, these 2 teams would be in for some huge seasons in the future of their franchises.
