Miles Bridges could be too much but for someone that is looking for a big contract and the Hornets may not want to pay him and instead use the money for the much-needed center. This allows for PJ Washington to come into a larger role. The Knicks get their star player while giving up some assets they don't care too much for but also giving up Mcbride who can be developed into a nice player.
