Cavs:

• Cavs do these to not force Mobley shooting 3s. Adding KAT, it allows Mobley to have more space in the paint. Cavs can also stretch the floor as a team.

• They also Levert back to Start, and play him as PG. he balled in Indiana as the primary handler and this gives them more size. Also, Mitchell has been great as passer recently so Levert does not need a lot of playmaking.

• These are just Cavs fit, but for KAT it is also great fit. With Mobley able to stretch the floor, KAT can get an open paint a lot more unlike with Gobert.

Timberwolves:

• It was very apparent that KAT is a 2nd thought now in the franchise. He was benched in the clutch minutes in the playoffs because he got outplayed by the undrafted Naz. He's had great moments last season for sure but it's time to move on.

• Now with Garland, I think he's the perfect replacement for Conley. He is the typical Combo guard, great shooter and makes the right reads. Conley can mentor him and once Conley retires, they'll get more cap space.

• and aside from that, they get 2 First round picks in today's draft. This gives them flexibility with the contracts.
