The warriors are trading for their 2030 first round pick back so they can trade picks in 2029 and 2031 without stepien rule kicking in. For the wizards this pick is protected 1-20 so it’s not very valuable (In 2030 the warriors are definitely not going to be a top 10 team meaning they would get this pick anyway).
