Why Every Team Does This

Miami Heat- They get a better fit for their team in Jaylen Brown. Brown is better than durant for the heat because of the age difference and he is better than Mitchell because Brown is a two player. The way they get Jaylen Brown is by giving the nets picks to help the celtics get durant and harris and they help the nets by giving them a jumpstart on their rebuilding. Pj Washington Helps the heat by filling the gapping hole at the four position.

Celtics: They get a top 5 player in the NBA right now without mortgaging their picks or giving up too much depth. The only way the celtics do this trade is if they have a inch of belief that brown will leave the celtics in two years which it looks that way right now as he has said that he feels disrespected by the Celtics fans and a little underappreciated.

Nets- They start a rebuild without their team being totally terrible with this trade they can trade Irving for the westbrook package where they get two amazing future picks while giving up Kyrie and Curry. They give the keys to Simmons and let him take over the team. They can expierment with him and see if he can fit in a role like Giannis and if he can they can start building around him and with this trade it helps them as they get a Holiday type player in Smart and a scorer in Herro.

Hawks- They get rid of collins contract and get 2 first round picks and stay competitive with Oubre. They also get a much needed backup point guard in Vincent.

Hornets- They do this trade to get collins who can fill the void of Miles Bridges while giving up Washington who they do not want to pay in the offseason.
