The Pelicans decide to blow up the team after missing the playoffs in a harsh loss to the 10th seed Thunder, this trade sends their top 3 players away, Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram, and CJ McCollum. This obviously begins a rebuilding process in New Orleans. They also gain 6 total first round picks, 2 being this year. and one even being potentially a top 4 pick in one of the most stacked draft classes in quite some time.

This also opens up a golden oppurtunity for Bryce McGowens to become a starter if Gordon Hayward underperforms
