Minnesota adds depth around KAT and Ant while the Knicks de-clutter their rotation and find a starting PG. Pick additions may be slightly off — maybe it’s the 2023 Mavs’ pick instead of DET’s top-40 selection and another 2nd rounder — but I figured some picks would be needed to balance this out.
NYK: DLo brings the ability to create for himself and others while adding spacing. There’s a risk of “too many cooks” with RJ and Randle, but with DLo on a 1-year deal, it mitigates the long-term downside.
MIN: This is an efficient way to add more depth across the lineup — Rose is an ideal bridge PG or sixth man to maintain offensive continuity; Nerlens is an elite rim protector to take some defensive pressure off of KAT; and Fournier is a solid tertiary shotmaker who can absorb Okogie’s minutes (even if their roles differ).
