  1. LAKERS LAND KESSLER. Rob Pelinka has been chasing him the last 2 years, because he was a good fit next to AD because hes lenght, rim protection and rebounding abilities, but now with Luka is a PERFECT fit, he can be a lob threat, elite rim-protection, good IQ in offense and good/elite rebounder. Also he can switch a little bit in defense.

  2. LAKERS LAND KCP. KCP is playing bad in Orlando and has not fit good in the team. With his contract and his age, could be a good option for Orlando to move him for 2 expiring contracts like Gabe and Kleber who can impact in the game too. KCP will be a good fit next to Luka and moving AR to the 6th man. Why? He is a good 3&D, we all have seen what he can do next to LeBron and Jokic.

  3. LEBRON CONTRACT SITUATION. LeBron has a player option this year, if he opts out, he became a free agent this summer and can retire, sign with another team or resign with the Lakers or he can opt in a became a free agent in 2026. The perfect situation will be to the team will be that he resign for less money to unlock the MLE. This will require a paycut around 10-15M, counting the salary cap will increase and that contracts like Luka, Reaves and Rui will earn more next year.

  4. RESIGN IMPORTANT ROTATION PLAYERS. Lakers need to resign DFS & Hayes, and give Goodwin a contract. DFS has a player option this summer, the ideal situation will be resign him for less money but more years. With Hayes maybe give him the BAE (5,4M) or a little more than a vet min. For Goodwin give him a vet contract for 2 years or a contract similar to Shake Milton.

  5. POSIBLE SIGNINGs WITH THE MLE: Caris Levert, Bruce Brown, Malcom Brogdon, Cam Thomas, Santi Aldama, Kelly Oubre, Bobby Portis, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Clint Capela, Quentin Grimes...

LAKERS ROTATION:

* PG LUKA | REAVES

* SG KCP | GOODWIN

* SF RUI | DFS

* PF LEBRON | VANDO

* CT KESSLER | HAYES

  • MLE
