This trade would make the lakers contenders, meaning a truly top team. If they want to really play it safe this is the move for the front office. Lakers would get a player that solves a lot of early problems, 3pt and rebounding. Lauri is the best 3D player today. In the other hand you get more defense, get rid of Prince and in return you got a cheap Caruso and a player who can fill the rol of Prince (he barely made an impact so its not hard to replace him).
