The Thunder here cash in some of their many assets to bring in Mikal Bridges. He is a perfect fit next to Williams SGA and Chet, bringing secondary playmaking, scoring, shooting, and great defense. This would bring an insane amount of length to the team, and they move Giddy, who's inconsistant shot allows teams to congest the floor and limits some of their scoring potential. The Thunder also bring in some size in Vucevic, who can help solve their biggest weaknesses, rebounding and strength in the interior. Playing next to Chet will help Vuc out on the defensive end, and he will help Chet not get bullied inside as much. SGA/Bridges/Williams/Chet/Vucevic is a great starting lineup, and helps give them even more versatility by adding the ability to play big or small.

The Nets decide to move on from Bridges while his value is near it's peak, and they get a nice young prospect in Giddy. They also recoup more draft assets that should be decent value.

Chicago starts their blow up, getting some draft assets and clearing off longer term salary by taking on THJ's expiring contract.

Dallas moves on from a defensive liability to pick up the final piece they need to truly become a contender, a great defensive guard who can pair with PJ Washington to form a dynamic wing presence. Doncic/Irving/Dort/Williams/Gafford has defense, shooting, playmaking, and rebounding and is a very complete 5.
