WHY MAGIC DO IT:
Deal 1: MCW for Trey + Maxi (TPE) + second. Maxi would be an excellent trade piece at the deadline / next year.
Deal 2: Lopez for Saric + 2 seconds. Saric is injured, but he's way younger than Lopez and next year will have more value.
First hidden thing: 2 seconds because Magic concede buyout to Gary Harris so he can join Suns.
WHY RAPS DO IT:
For Siakam they get a former number 1 pick who'll get a max next year and pick 10 of 2020 draft. Then, 2 future pick swaps.
Second hidden thing: They get Moses Brown because they concede buyout to Dragic so he can join Dallas.
Starting 5: FVV, GTJ, OG, Boucher, Ayton
Second Unit: Flynn, Svi, Scottie, J.Smith, Precious
Third Unit: Bonga, Bunton, Dekker, Birch, Brown
Their frontcourt has a lot of potential. Without Dragic, Flynn can get more minutes.
They can pay both Ayton and Boucher without paying luxury.
WHY SUNS DO IT:
As I said in the title, they do it only when Siakam comes back or they would fuck up their regular season.
Warriors and Lakers proved you can win without great names at the C or with just veterans. Smith, Ayton and Crowder for Siakam is a fair deal.
Starting 5: CP3, Book, Bridges, Siakam, Lopez
Second Unit: Payne, Shamet, G.Harris, Cam, McGee
Third Unit: Payton, Nader, X, Yuta, Kaminsky
CP3-Book-Siakam is one hell of big 3. Gary Harris is a great addition off the bench and still have 1 spot open. They can give both buyouts (Harris and X) the minimum WITHOUT paying luxury.
WHY MAVS DO IT
Crowder is a great upgrade of Maxi, he's worth 2 pick swaps. We also save 3 millions of Trey next year.
Starting 5: Luka, THJ, DFS, KP/Crowder, Powell/KP
Second Unit: Jalen, Dragic, Reggie, Crowder, WCS
Third Unit: Frank, MCW, Sterling, Josh, Boban
That 10 men rotation would be a dream for us.
