They will definitely select Cooper Flagg, unless Nico Harrison completely loses his mind.
2 Pick – San Antonio Spurs:
I feel the Spurs will take Ace Bailey. Personally, I really like him. A power forward who can run and shoot threes would really help open up the Spurs’ currently cramped spacing.
3 Pick – Philadelphia 76ers:
They need a combo guard for their second unit, and that’s clearly Dylan Harper.
4 Pick – Charlotte Hornets:
What the Hornets lack most is a shooting guard (SG), so without a doubt, it should be VJ Edgecombe.
5 Pick – Utah Jazz:
They desperately need a point guard to build around. The best fit would be Kasparas Jakucionis.
6 Pick – Washington Wizards:
They lack a playmaking guard—after all, Jordan Poole only scores and doesn’t create for others. Bub Carrington and Marcus Smart aren't long-term answers at PG either. So after Kasparas, the best point guard available would be Jeremiah Fears.
7 Pick – New Orleans Pelicans:
They only have one usable center in Yves Missi, so they’ll definitely address the center position. Personally, I lean toward Derik Queen because of his high upside and NBA-readiness.
8 Pick – Brooklyn Nets:
They lack players at the SG/SF positions (especially SF), and particularly ones who can shoot threes. If they pick Tre Johnson, he would overlap too much with Cam Thomas in terms of size and playstyle. So I think the best fit here is Kon Knueppel.
9 Pick – Toronto Raptors:
They’re in desperate need of a point guard (PG) and a center (C). Given who’s still available, I think they’ll take Khaman Maluach.
10 Pick – Houston Rockets:
Outside of Jalen Green, they don’t really have any SGs. And with a high chance Jalen Green gets traded this offseason, selecting a SG is crucial. So I believe they’ll go with Tre Johnson.
11 Pick – Portland Trail Blazers:
They badly need a true lead guard. Egor Demin, a 6’8” point guard with strong playmaking skills, would be a perfect choice here.
12 Pick – Chicago Bulls:
They urgently need a power forward, especially a tough, undersized energy guy. So I predict they’ll select Collin Murray-Boyles, who’s more NBA-ready than Asa Newell.
13 Pick – Atlanta Hawks:
They’re also weak at the power forward spot, especially ones who can score. I think Rasheer Fleming is the best scoring power forward available at this point— he can shoot the three, has solid defensive impact, and is relatively NBA-ready.
14 Pick – San Antonio Spurs (again):
At this point, the Spurs' roster is very well-rounded. So the best option is to take Nique Clifford, a highly polished, all-purpose wing.
