If Pacers were to give 5 1sts with some light protections and Heat a few with more protection. I feel the Heat would possibly do this trade. Especially by next year when Nembhard's salary will match better like TJ's. They'd then have a stretch elite shot blocking C. To place alongside Kel'el Ware, their new PG of the future and the big man SF/PF. In Jarace Walker and all his untapped potential.
Pacers get a traditional big who can Rebound and set hard screens. Who would fit much better alongside Haliburton and what the Pacers want to accomplish. Then they get a young PF who can shoot the ball well. Not much of a defender at this point. But can help make up for the loss of Turners 3pt output and Jarace. While sending Furphy to the Spurs. Gives them a much better prospect full of potential. As he's young, big and a sharpshooter who can put up insanely accurate numbers from deep. This would help Wemby as Furphy stretches the floor. It gives them space to work inside and out the post.
While Pacers get a more raw prospect in Siddy Sissoko. Pretty sure I screwed his name up.. I used to know it, but I've slept since that draft. However, he's a very good defender and can hit shots when he's open and was someone I was hoping the Pacers would pick up. Seeing as how badly they needed a SF for so long.
I know Heat fans will be against giving up Bam, but Myles could take them in another direction for their future with Ware and they reviewed 5 1st rd picks and a hand full of seconds. Along with some great player's.
Note: I said if I was Pacers I'd probably include Nembhard to get Bam. Because I'm sure they'd want him. I personally have no problem with that. It may save Pacers some 1sts. I didn't realize as I rushed that the trade wouldn't go through successfully anyways. Or I'd just put Nembhard in place of McConnell anyways.. But I didn't. If we were to include Nembhard, we may need another player. A point guard that I don't think Miami has, so we'd then need to find another team to get that PG for the Pacers.. But overall, I like the trade for both sides.
What do you guy's think?
