Wemby gets elite shooting help and real PG help. Pacers send KJ, better scorer to Hawks for bigger Wing, get Sidy & Kyle/MINpick

SUCCESS

Everyone wins here, the numbers of offense to defensive win shares show this. Kyle Anderson has been wanting out and will leave for nothing come FA. So might as well get their own 2nd round pick back as it will be valuable and another late one. Plus Theis they could even flip again themselves. Before the deadline for another pick. Pacers need all the real Wing help they can get. They're too small and it's been proven during their game against the Celtics. Also an unbalanced roster and shooting is to also blame. You add 3 hybrid wing SF/PF players who can do a little of everything. Sidy is still young and a work in progress. However Hunter has been coming into his own. Slowly, yet with this Pacers up tempo style. Where the ball never sticks, or ever goes into iso with a guy like Trey dribbling and another dribbler PG on one team. This Pacers team will allow him to get out and run with Ty, Mathurin, Obi, Turner to get the easy transition dunk, or 3 ball. At 6'8 225. Hunter is everything the Pacers have needed. While Smith solidified as the backup C. There is no other better PF/SF to place alongside Smith than Kyle Anderson. A scrappy, high IQ PF, with SF like dribbling and skill set. Slo Mo, gets buckets in the quietest of ways. He can literally destroy teams and you won't even notice right away. He can easily put up double figures, have 2 or 3 blocks almost close to 10 board's and 6 or 7 assists on a great night. He's also switchable and has good footwork as he sorta glides across the floor. Always knowing where to be. These are the players our Pacers need around some of these young guy's.

I personally thought Nesmith should have been starting at SG. His skills aren't being utilized as he can shoot off screen's and off the dribble. With solid defense and driving the ball as well. However, with an addition like Hunter, we would obviously give him that starting SF role. As he can get those much needed boards and more so easily guard bigger forwards. Mathurin I've always believed should be trying to play a SG position. As he is somewhat undersized. I've felt he shouldn't have to be guarded by team's biggest and best wings. It would only make him struggle. I feel he can have more of an advantage at SG with some time. As he develops his shot, which is a quick release and can take guy's off the dribble/drive with his quick first step to the rim. He should thrive there and draw even more fouls.

A trade like this would completely help balance out our roster. Everyone gets something they need and I also tried to balance out the fair amount of picks. If you think it could be tweaked let me know. You have to at least admit it's not a bad trade for any team right? Everyone benefits, sorry if your team is one and you like a particular player, but I did try to give a fair return.

The Starters of my Pacers would be: Hali/Mathurin/Hunter/Obi/Turner Bench2: Nembhard/Nesmith/Brown/Anderson/ Smith Bench3: Wong/Shepp/Osman/Walker/Oscar Sidy Cissoko/Kendall Brown

I love doing this trade, because it gets us a couple 2nds. Even though we had to give up 2nds. It most importantly balanced out our roster and is giving our younger guy's the needed burn they deserve. With the old guy's we weren't using anyways. We can develop Oscar/Shepp whenever we get the chance at 3rd string, Wong/Walker. Walker getting his regardless.. Possibly Cissoko and K.Brown if this trade went down. I wish it could, I'd love it. We need something very similar if not this trade. This balance is everything we need and there are teams out there that need the guy's we have. That they could benefit from now. While they can offer us guy's that we need very badly to balance out our roster because of our SF/Wing dilemma. I wish we could have gotten Covington in that Clippers trade. I was really wanting him also. Many pieces I like I could make a great set of trades with. This is only one example.

I think this would elevate the Spurs tremendously and I'd actually be excited to watch Wemby play with such a savy backup PG in McConnell and have such an Elite 3pt shooter in Heild to dime out to. It would definitely be great for the Spurs with all their defense at all positions. McConnell also being a scrappy PG and Heild is good when locked in. Then with him starting, he will be in constant rythem and be more open than ever with Wemby. He will be a guaranteed 42+% from 3 as usual. Spurs would be a big problem just with their starting lineup and a bench ran by TJ McConnell.

Then as for Hawks, they'd have one more dynamic 6'5 very strong, stalky build 3 way scorer. Who can also pass, rebound and make hustle plays. Add that with Trey, Murray, Bey, Johnson, Capela and other's going down hill.. Omg... smh.. The ball movement would be insane..

MIN will be happy to get back a couple picks for a player they will lose anyways as they look to probably not play so well. Then try to draft player's. While possibly looking to retool, maybe even starting by the deadline. If not the off-season. That team is a mess and they only need to acquire picks and look to reshape their team. Anderson want's out, my team could use his services and I'd throw some 2nds to get those services.
