I'm not sure. The Hornets could use what Adams brings on paper even if his contract isn't ideal. Does moving up 1 spot and gaining a solid 2nd offset the contract? If it were 3 to 5 spots I'd be more certain. There's a good chance whomever the Hornets are targeting is there at 11 anyway. However, perhaps getting a better branded pick - a top 10 - helps them should they be thinking of packaging it with Rozier and/or a Bridges or Washington for something bigger? If it's not enough what else would the Pels have to add? Dropping to 11 shouldn't change anything for the NO - either grab a guy they like or package it up to move Bledsoe for someone useful.
