The Pels move down three spots, but still pick in a meaty part of this draft. They get their starting 5 and PG — both who seemingly are better fits with Zion & Ingram while also getting off of Adams and Bledsoe. This still allows for the Pelicans to bring back Lonzo, but more than likely results in helping facilitate a sign and trade to a team for pennies on the dollar. Either way, you can be pretty happy with the backcourt the Pels would field.

The Cavs to me are the team that most likely backs out of this deal, but perhaps the Pelicans sweeten it with Kira Lewis Jr or make one of those 1st rounders the Indiana pick this season instead of a future Bucks or Lakers pick. However, getting two firsts, a high second and essentially an expiring contract in Bledsoe to get off of Cedi and relocate Sexton is an okay haul.

The Pacers get reshaped for Rick Carlisle. Brogdon is a great player and person, but is known for being a little head-strong, which may not fly with Rick. Also, Brogdon and LeVert have had serious injury concerns, so this stabilizes the backcourt from a health perspective. Sexton comes in to add some scoring sizzle alongside LeVert, Sabonis, Warren and Jeremy Lamb. Adams sets screens, rebounds and defends. If his offseason 3pt shooting videos translate he becomes pretty valuable. However, I wouldn't bet the farm on it. The Pacers save a lot of money this season, move up 3 spots in the draft, get a young stud and an early 2nd to address what's been an awkward fit in the front court and potentially a shaky marriage in the locker room.
