Depth Chart:
PG: Cade, Ball, Holiday SG: Ivey, Sasser, Hield SF: Ausar, Fonteccio, Umude PF: Buzelis ,Martin, Metu C: Duren, Saric, Bamba
Pistons: move on from Stewart, Wiseman, Grimes and Troy Brown. They pick up Lonzo who at worst is a 20 million dollar expiring contract and at best can be an elite role player/trade asset for years to come, They also pickup Buddy Hield who is coming off a rough playoff series but is an elite elite shooter which the Pistons have definitely needed, they also pickup some pretty solid picks in the 28’ Clippers and a lightly protected 27’ bulls. I also have them drafting Matas, and really gunning for some solid role players who can fit with this core, they resign Fonteccio who was a great 6’8 shooter at the forward for them, they sign Saric and Bamba who I think can both be great behind Duren doing everything he cant and vice versa, they sign Aaron Holiday who was another great this year, and lastly they try and steal Caleb Martin from the heat who is a great role player and was half the reason they went to the finals in 23’
Bulls: Finally give up on Lonzo and bring in some more youth, they bring in Wiseman (23) who averaged 15 and 11 as a starter this year on almost 60% shooting, along with QGrimes (24) who had a rough year especially with the pistons but showed some flashes of elite 3 and D potential in his tenure with the Knicks.
Sixers: Bring some youth to their bench with Isiah Stewart (23) who has some character issues but is a really great defender and has some floor spacing ability shooting 38% from 3 this year, aside from the character things he would be my front runner for a potential PJ Washington type come up. They also bring in Troy Brown (24) who has been is a 6’6 wing who has been a really solid shooter over his career before coming to the pistons and playing like complete ass.
