Jabari Smith might be the perfect PF to pair with Cade and Ausar in Detroit. He brings solid defense at the 4 spot, can space the floor, serve as a lob threat, and fits the young timeline. Detroit should then look to continue making moves by trading Duren, Ivey, and future 1sts to try and land a clear cut #2 scorer in the offseason. This might look like signing BI, trading Ivey for a Walker Kessler type, and moving Duren for picks but this is a great start to a team.

Timberwolves move Randle as he’s not a great fit and add Tobias who provides one of the most steady veteran presences and can fit into any lineup.
