Atlanta basketball might be back as the Hawks steal the 1st pick in this years NBA Draft. If they weren't already going to have a busy offseason this takes it to another level and creates questions about the future of most of their players. I think the best option for the Hawks is to select Alex Sarr a huge wing with the defensive capabilities of Jared Jackson Jr. His versatile frame allows him to apply both on-ball and off-ball defence on any position on the floor, saving this team from the terrible defensive team they are now. Before the lottery I would've expected the Hawks to trade Trae Young but with the lob threat capabilities with Sarr I think Atlanta has their duo for the future. Sarr fits well in Atlanta also playing in the OTE league located nearby to their stadium so it will be no problem for him to fit with the culture in Atlanta.
