Towns is not a good fit in MN anymore. He needs to operate out of the post and he can't do that with Gobert. He's not fast enough to be a perimeter stretch 4 on offense or defense. In Dallas, he resumes his normal position at center. He will immediately provide a legit interior scoring threat and great passing from the post. Defensively, this hurts Dallas, but they'll just outscore everyone.
MN gets an ideal stretch 4, 3and D wing in Williams. Hardaway provides another scoring punch off the bench with Naz Reid. This completes the Wolves team and they recoup a first round pick which they need.
Fits well for everyone.
