Maybe wizards don’t do the trade but gabe has been playing better recently and hopefully increases trade value…

They need to do the signings and they need to deal off niang, this is my rough estimate of what they should do. Open to suggestions….

The Hawks are in a position where they are not rebuilding and not contending. I think they should try to contend, because you are not gettin a Trae Youg caliber player in the future, so don't waste the opportunity. This trade gives the Hawks what they need, although it is incredibly unlikely. But… the hawks would at leat be a top 6 seed with this team.

The Hawks have guys listed as PGs, but they're really all hybrids and none can cover PG minutes when Trae is off the floor. Vit Krejci is a Point Forward, not someone who can outright play Point Guard and clearly he isn't meant to be the primary creator on the team when Trae isn't playing. Kobe Bufkin is a Shooting Guard, Keaton Wallace is playing PG but is also a natural SG. They don't have a backup PG that can truly play that role in terms of just setting the team up for the like 12 minutes a game that Trae won't be playing, getting Collin Gillespie can fix that a little bit. He is a true Point Guard, one that can play and move well off ball and play disciplined defense, no surprise since he spent five years at college before being signed by Denver in 2022 and then playing in the g-league for 2 years. The Suns don't really need him on their roster though, and with him being injury prone as he was also injury riddled on Denver, they probably don't mind moving him. A simple swap with t…
