With Mitchell Robinson and OG Anunoby out both for their own times and with other pieces like Brunson just going out with an injury, Knicks can get interior presence while adding a great high impact playmaker for their run.

Quentin Grimes saw himself become available in trade talks after once being heralded as a promising piece of the Knicks's young core. While his trade value along with the draft capital New York can give up, Washington feels the need to let go of an expiring contract in Tyus Jones and also their promising starting center to New York for the extra draft capital and promising young pieces….

pretty loaded at guards, might be too much depth. perhaps knicks can make one additional trade to get more interior presence by moving on from grimes?…

Chicago acquires Buddy Hield (expiring contract) and Jordan Nwora and a first-round pick and some future second-round picks as some compensation for an expiring contract.

Haliburton gets a new weapon and another fourth-quarter closer in DeRozan along with his veteran leadership to help Indiana make a stronger push to a hopeful deep playoff run….

In my opinion, I think Minnesota should try to move Gobert if it even is possible, but should definitely move KAT otherwise to build around Anthony Edwards. Since, they don't really have the assets outside of KAT and McDaniels (who I wouldn't trade at the moment), I would try to get some veterans that can help space the floor for him. Kyle Anderson's locker room troubles as a result of Gobert's punch thrown at him has caused some issues that game. Adding Patty Mills and Danilo Gallinari would be great players to help bring bench production when Anthony Edwards and KAT step off the floor. Getting rid of Anderson and other wings allow for the younger guys in Josh Minott and Summer League star "Mr. Double Double" to get some minutes to bring real impact to the team. This isn't a big trade meant to affect the starting lineup. This is about addressing several issues and improving the bench unit offensively while picking up some draft assets to slightly recover from the Gobert trade.

Atlant…

Hawks can find some kind of replacement for giving up John Collins by giving up Bogdanovic for another Bogdanovic that can space the floor. With Clint Capela gone, Atlanta could get more depth by picking up James Wiseman in the last year of his rookie contract. Onyeka Okongwu proved his worth, especially in the postseason, and fulfilled the expectations that Atlanta's front office had back when they drafted him. He gets the starting role and now Wiseman can get some meaningful minutes backing up Okongwu, who won't get hefty starter minutes immediately. Atlanta gets a valuable piece in Terance Mann to provide more depth to the team.

Clippers could easily say yes to this as they manage to get Clint Capela without giving up Ivica Zubac while getting some young frontcourt talent in Marvin Bagley to replace Marcus Morris. Killian Hayes has had an inefficient year, but still could be a valuable playmaker in little plug and play minutes that Tyronn Lue could give him. Detroit also gets good …

The Lakers really have no use to being on the trade market. They signed a lot of great players. They have been looking for a center to fill out the last roster spot and giving Kai Jones a chance in a logjammed situation will be great. A lob candidate for Lebron James, his hustle and tenacity can be greatly appreciated in Los Angeles. I can't imagine Los Angeles would give up on Max Christie just yet though….

Miami gets replacements for Gabe Vincent and Max Strus with Buddy Hield and Jordan Nwora while getting an athletic Keon Johnson for more depth. Daniel Theis is additional size that Miami can employ behind Bam Adebayo if he steps out of the game. Damian Lillard completes the big trio that can help Miami get to the championship stage and hopefully win.

Portland gets Bennedict Mathurin and Myles Turner and heavy draft compensation in exchange for Damian Lillard while also being able to get a veteran presence in Kyle Lowry behind Scoot Henderson and getting some wing shooting with Aaron Nesmith. The draft compensation would be good for Portland to acquire more talent in the rebuild.

Indiana might be getting the shorter end of the stick here by giving up so much, but they get to pair Haliburton with Tyler Herro to create a formidable offensive pair. This is where I can see Indiana pulling out of the trade….

I don't think Golden State can really make any other moves, but I believe that Golden State could make one big swing to get a rim running interior presence in Nicolas Claxton. He is a horrible free throw shooter, but in terms of the Warriors offense, he would be a great big man like the likes of Andrew Bogut and Javale McGee in their dynasty era. He can protect the interior while catching lobs and crashing the glass on both ends. Kevon Looney was a work horse, but Golden State should make the move to upgrade especially with his athleticism and frame.

Golden State should try to inquire about Christian Wood signing for the vet minimum in order to secure a bigger contract in the future. He is still 27 and can take one more gamble. In my eyes, he is worth 10-15 million even 10+ days into free agency, but the idea that money is not much left in circulation with most franchises, Christian Wood could find Golden State to be a perfect position. He would most likely come off the bench as Claxt…

Brooklyn re-signed Cam Johnson and is extremely wing-heavy with players like Royce O'Neale, Mikal Bridges, Dorian Finney-Smith, Noah Clowney, and Dariq Whitehead. Brooklyn has been linked to Tyler Herro as a third team to facilitate the move of Damian Lillard to Miami, however, it has been hard for this trade to work with the friction between Damian Lillard and the Portland front office on the value of the trade return vs. honoring his trade request strictly to Miami.

Acquiring more guards and playmakers is very important for Brooklyn to acquire. Tyler Herro would be a phenomenal scorer to exist with Mikal Bridges. Duncan Robinson can provide some much-needed perimeter shooting that Joe Harris seems to not be able to produce in the past few seasons prior to being traded to Detroit this past offseason. Kyle Lowry can provide some playmaking and veteran presence defensively that Brooklyn can use in such a young team. Jusuf Nurkic would be great as a big man to exist with Cameron Johnson…
