Notice anything different?

TradeNBA started with the simple goal to create a better NBA trade machine. We launched on the NBA subreddit back in 2018 and quickly became a go-to resource for smart NBA fans, professional writers, analysts & agents. We got great feedback for what we had built, but people wanted us to build more. So we added best-in-class tools for the NBA draft - Custom Big Boards and a Mock Draft Simulator. We also heard from fans of other sports: could we create an NFL trade machine? How about similar resources for MLB? So we created Fanspo.com to be the place where sports fans of all kinds explore the games they love and create unique, shareable content.

In the meantime, the TradeNBA community thrived. You competed hard for Trade of the Day status, built friendships, and shared your creations on Twitter, Reddit and other team sites. The trades you created sometimes were just an excuse to discuss other NBA topics, like last night's game,…

New Draft Tools

TradeNBA has now expanded into providing resources for the NBA draft! With similar features as our trade machine, you can share, rate and comment on your draft creations. This post provides a summary of the changes.

We have now added a variety of draft resources, including a list of draft prospects, detailed player breakdowns, team needs, official draft order and of course new tools to share, rate and comment on (Mock Draft Simulator, Draft Big Board Creator).

Trade Machine Updates

The site has gone through another huge update. The sections below will recap what has been updated and the new features that have been added. This new update should improve performance across the site as well as provide you with an abundance of new information and data you may be interested in.

New Trade Machine Features

The trade machine has now been updated with new capabilities that the community has been requesting!

Sign Free Agents

You can now add players from the free agent list to your team! Simply select the Sign Free Agent button and choose the player you would like to sign to your team. You will then be greeted with a screen to select the terms of the players contract. Adding new contracts will affect the teams payroll.

Site Redesign

I am happy to announce that the new site redesign is live! I've worked over the past year to provide many of the features that have been asked for since the site's initial launch on reddit back in June 2018.

New Features

There are many new features to the site, most noticeable though is the ability to now create your own user account. By creating a user account you will be able to save your trades to your profile as well as rate and comment on other trades throughout the site. You will also have the ability to add notes to your trades, such as a title and description that will be shown along with your trade. Trades shared on twitter with our website link, will also now show an automatically generated preview image of your trade.

You may now notice that you can search for players and teams in the search bar. These pages provide historical data related to salary cap, stats, contracts, rosters, draft picks, exceptions, transa…
