This scenario is based on tankathon that had Magic getting the 1st and 8th pick and Portland getting the 3rd pick.

In 1992 & 1993 we got back to back #1’s 30 years later it will happen again in 2022 & 2023! And like last time we trade it for the player we want.

We trade #1 & #8 + a future first for Dame & #3 then take Miller. We would unfortunately lose Kelle, Gary & JI but Dame is it and Sharpe could come too.

Dame, Suggs, Franz, Paolo & Dell would be a killer lineup. Cole, Sharpe, Miller, Caleb & Wagner would be a great 2nd unit….

I know, I know this looks crazy and it is. I've never done a 4 team trade and this one didn't start out that way. But like many real trades when there are multiple going on at one time sometimes teams work together to make the nuts and bolts work.

The Knicks want shooting and defense. They get Ross and Bamba. They also are rumored to be willing to give up 3 first (they have plenty) for OG. They also pick up a 2nd rounder from the Bulls.

The Bulls want to take a flyer on Reddish and move off the always injured Lonzo for a player that will contribute. Fournier gives them good shooting, a bit of defense and a great familiarity with their big man Vooch. Plus they get two first out of it.

The Raptors are hitting reset. Harris, Okeke and Hampton can all be dropped if they want after this year. They also get 3 first round picks and young guard in Suggs with great defensive potential.

The Magic want a quality back up big, a starting SG that can shoot the 3 and defend and they don't mind hu…

The reports out today say this is the going price…if so Orlando should jump on it. GTJ might be a rental but then you get him for half a year to see how good the Magic really are and maybe he resigns with them…

Let's be honest we all love that Dame is loyal. If your from a small market team you dream about that kind of loyalty. But we all hate to see him wasting his talent on a team that doesn't seem to get over the hump. Also teams are usually not loyal, if you offer enough they will consider it.

Magic give up a ton in this trade: multiple unprotected first round picks, expiring contracts the trailblazers can cut if they want to move on or keep for a year look at the player, some young players we really like (i'm looking at you Cole!) BUT if you want a star you will trade alot to get him.

The trailblazers don't even want to talk about this deal but they would be hard pressed to turn it down and the only team IMO that could offer better is OKC and they are so stingy I don't know if they would. Portland if they go full rebuild could shed 37 million dollars just in the magic players. If they like the players they could keep them with bird rights. Personally I would cut them and go full tank …

It would never happen but I would trade anything but Franz and Paolo and every pick to them for Luka. Bonus Luka reunites with his former coach that he wanted to get the HC job….

It sure my Magic should do it but if the Hawks really are feuding with him they could dump a ton of money while picking up 4 first rounders and some talent.

The Magic finally decide to consolidate some of their many assets to get Trae to pair as the guard of the future.

The Lakers immediately get better. Fultz becomes the best guard they have had in years. Bamba and Ross shooting fills a real need….

So this one might seem odd but Orlando is looking to maximize assets, develop young players, push available cap to next year when there are better free agents and when we know who we want to be. Recently John Wall signed his player option. He doesn't really want to be in Houston and they don't really want him there additionally Kenyon Martin Jr. has asked for a trade, and Houston is now worried that us or OKC is going to take Paolo.

Magic select Paolo #1 then at #3 Houston picks Jabari and we swap. They also give Orlando #17 this year and an unprotected 1st rounder for next year. We also pick up John wall and Jr. We trade back #35 and TRoss and a Sign and trade of Bamba.

At 17 we see who slipped out of the Lottery unexpectedly, happens every year….

This makes sense for both teams. The suns need more shooting in the short term and both players give them that as well as a better back up center and sometime PF in Bamba. And maybe as important a high 2nd round pick for a player in a year where they don't have a pick.

The magic get a young SG to develop with the second unit and future 1st. Also Ross get's to go to a contender….

So I was kicking around ideas. Two players we likely won't get much for are Ross and Mo Bamba. So in the interest of future cap flexability and getting a future asset why not do the dirty deed and trade with the lakers.

Orlando Magic get Russel Westbrook and a 2026 1st rounder unprotected Lakers get Pick 35 this year, Ross (who will be motivated IMO), and Mo on a sign and trade for 3 years 33 million.

The Lakers need shooting in worst kind of way. When healthy and motivated both are plus shooters. Orlando get Russel and his 47 million anchor contract. I think we should be honest. Listen Russ we aren't interested in you playing we want to develop the young guys, we would love for you to work out with them and teach them the grind to be a star. When we can buy you out or cut you lose we will. Then next year we have cap space and hopefully an idea of where the young guys are going and what we need in Free Agency. In 2024 there a ton Unrestricted Free Agents. Most notably Devin Booker an…

I started thinking about having two high draft picks last year really jump started or rebuild in a significant way and wondering if we could / should do it again. Then I started looking at next years draft class. Wembanyama truly looks like the truth, an honest to goodness consensus #1 and franchise changer. So could we be inline for a top pick next year too? With two picks i considered it but unless we commit to tanking which we won't we have no shot. NO ONE is trading the top pick next year.

I think we will be much improved next year barring injury. Fultz was just finding his groove again. Suggs and Franz will take another step forward. If JI stays healthy and is even 70% or who he was we are in the play in tournament IMO. So should be we not go all in on this draft?!

Unless it's all a ruse (very possible with our front office) I think the Magic are taking Jabari. I think he is worthy and provides little risk and high reward. Now if you could get another high pick would you swing i…
