I ran a draft simulation and blazers got #1 pick and pelicans got the #7 pick so this would be the blazers getting pick 1 and 7 where they get cooper flagg and khaman maluach and he backs up clingan now that ayton is gone. coop has a great relationship with both those guys and he’d pair so well with toumani deni scoot and shaedon. Pelicans only trade if they drop really low and don’t value anybody that high. ayton could help them a lot though and he’s an expiring so you get some flexibility in cap space next summer. The only thing better for the blazers to do now is trade jerami or ant and two more first round picks for the 9th or 10th pick this year and get knueppel, he’d be such a good backup to shaedon down the line. Rotation down the line could be scoot, shae, toumani, coop, clingan, deni, knueppel, jerami, maluach. Those 9 players could do some scary things and i’d give up draft capital to make it happen…

I think there would be some draft compensation somewhere in here. 76ers do this because PG is one of the worst contracts in the league and Blazers do this because Jerami is blocking things and Rob has the most value on the team and we already have two centers. Upside is he’s a vet presence and if he’s hurt then Scoot or Shaedon get to start and if he plays well we can trade him or we can just use his money when he’s gone to pay the young guys. Drummond just showed Clingan what a man was today and I think he could help Donovan with becoming a bigger presence when DA is gone. Matisse is loved in Philly so there’s that. I just think Blazers can take this risk other teams don’t want to take because Rob and Matisse never play and Jerami is long overdue for the exit. Let me know what you think…

Blazers get off these guys who aren’t in the plans and get at least a first, the second is nice too. Middleton is probably a more vocal person than Jerami and it’s just a one year rental behind Toumani and Deni. Jerami would be so much better on the Bucks, when he’s asked to be the 3rd or 4th man on the catch and shoot he’s amazing and can bail you out at the end of the shot clock too. Rob is a great backup center behind Brook and your 10 man rotation is now excellent: Dame, Ajax, Jerami, Giannis, Brook, AJ, GTJ, Prince, Portis, Rob Will. Marjon and Kris can be 2 nasty defenders when the starting forward guys are hurt….

Blazers don’t want any of the seconds but take a chance on Clippers being bad in 2031. Frees up over 10 million to pay guys this summer…

Jerami and Rob are both upgrades and Grant can fill in while Jalen Johnson is injured and with the new cap expanding his contract won’t look so crazy and he can be moved. Rob is easily tradable as well but is also a good backup for Okongwu. Blazers like the Capela expiring and he won’t play the rest of the season and Bogdan is the perfect backup shooting guard because Portland needs shooting next to Scoot, Deni, and Clingan. Blazers have two first round picks after this trade and can get a solid 3 or 4 with their own pick and the other position later with the Lakers pick. Next years rotation: Ant, Shae, Toumani, Deni, Ayton, Scoot, Bogdan, Knueppel, Kris, Clingan. After that season is up the starting 5 should finally be Scoot, Shae, Toumani, Deni, and Clingan with Bogdan, Knueppel on the bench and the other 3 are a mystery…

Everybody wins this trade I feel, unless lakers really don’t want to give up the first but let’s be honest getting a ring now is the main concern. Rockets get off of Adams expiring and get a better younger center in Rob who will still backup your star. Blazers get a good first round pick and deal out Rupes who has promise but is still spending time in the G league and not getting big minutes at all. Blazers hopefully deal Ant and let Gabe backup Scoot for a year and then he walks. Wood walks this summer….

Blazers want a first for Rob and it could come here. Capela leaves in the summer and Blazers open up some cap space. rob and okongwu can split minutes in half and that’s great center play for trae 48 min a night. Blazers can use this pick down the line in a big trade. Blazers will sit players for no reason post all star break so Clingan can still play big minutes…

I like this but it would have to be clear that kuminga resigns and jerami gets traded by the start of next season. kuminga tou and deni can all get 30+ minutes. Warriors get better now and get two potentially really good picks…

Thinking this wouldn’t happen because the Raptors wouldn’t want to get off of Boucher but the Blazers I think would find him interesting. Dalano is loved but could do well with a bigger role in LA. Blazers dump Ayton and let Clingan and Timelord split minutes 24/24. If they trade Ant after, Gabe can back Scoot up for a year and Blazers take a chance on Vanderbilt and see if he can prove something in 2-3 years off the bench. Who says no…

Heat gets off Jimmy and can be petty while doing it by sending him to a rebuilding Portland. Portland tells Jimmy just please help instill some winning DNA in to the young guys and we’ll happily pay you however much you want until you can sign with a team of your choice in FA. Portland can use that large amount of money to pay their young guys some more and sign bench help. Duncan Robinson would be the perfect backup two guard on this team as we’re desperate for shooters especially around Scoot. Scary Terry will be the 6th man than Deni and Rob and he can go wherever he wants when his contract is up. Miami is a good team without Jimmy and so you’re essentially trading Dunc and Terry for Dalano, Ant, Jerami, and DA which is a massive upgrade.

Lakers acquire an amazing fit at forward with jerami grant and big man help for AD and the bench. If Rob wasn’t in this trade it would only be 1 first round pick because jerami is worth 1.5 firsts. now that you get a dpoy caliber player that finally helps the center depth it turns into 2 picks.

This bench isn’t quite good enough but the remaining roster is paid 9.3 million which gives room to improve the bench with a point guard and power forward.

Not sure what to do with Vanderbilt but him and Rui could be good off the bench behind Toumani and Deni, if we get Flagg or Ace though JV should be dealt….

Heat don’t get picks back but great players that help the team more than Jimmy does. Warriors get another star and some more depth. Blazers get picks for their players and help these two other teams facilitate the biggest trade of the deadline. Wiggins would probably be moved during the summer if the Blazers draft a forward as they like Toumani and Deni more and are on better contracts / younger. Heat and Warriors fans let me know your thoughts and why you wouldn’t want to do this….

Lakers get off of multiple players they do not want / aren’t in the rotation and get back guys that fit the system. Bron and JJ both like Ant who commands double teams and can shoot lights out from 3. He’s young still and can be on the next version of the Lakers after Bron is retired. Duop can relieve AD a little at the center spot and offer a pick and pop relationship with the guards. Jabari most likely wouldn’t play but if injuries came he’s a high effort player who is nasty on the boards and a decent 3pt shooter. Blazers don’t care about any of the returning players besides maybe Vanderbilt they’re just doing it for the 2 picks…
